DC Cowboys
Founded by Kevin Platte in 1994, the DC Cowboys dance company is a 20-member, all-male, all-volunteer, performing arts organization for gay men in the Washington, DC–metropolitan area. Metro Weekly magazine has described the Cowboys’ style as a “trademark combo of Broadway-caliber verve, sizzling sex appeal, and rugged good looks”.
Lately featured on NBC’s America's Got Talent season 3 and at the Closing Ceremonies of the Gay Games VII at Wrigley Field in Chicago, the DC Cowboys dance company is an all-male, performing arts organization for gay men from Washington, DC.
