The Melonhead Foundation is a non-profit organization. Our purpose is to support the needs of children with cancer and their families who are seeking alternative methods of healing.
These methods include any and all natural medicines and treatments, provided through a variety of facilities.
It is the foundation's belief that a whole, healthy state of being is achieved through a complete program treating body, mind and soul.
The foundation raises and disperses funds to patients for treatment needs and to the families for their personal needs in order to provide a positive nurturing environment for the patient.
The purpose of The Melonhead Foundation's Camp Wannahealyah is to provide a positive natural healing experience for pediatric cancer patients and their families, free of charge.
The setting of Camp Wannahealyah will be a home environment providing natural healing modalities, camp-like activities, nutritional programs and instructional techniques for children 21 years of age or younger experiencing cancer and at least one adult family member/guardian.
Camp Wannahealyah is designed to allow pediatric cancer patients and their families an opportunity to experience natural & integrative healing practices focusing on body, mind & spirit to achieve peace, harmony and balance in their lives.
